Since I drove back to Waterloo yesterday, I had to pay for parking at UWP (campus housing closest to my building). The credit card swipe on the ticket machine didn't work, and I didn't bring any coins because I thought they took cards too. The rate is $5 per day, so it makes sense to accept $5 bills, but they don't! Waterloo should invest better ticketing machines. Surprisingly, I didn't panic as much as I thought I would be, though it was quite embarrassing trying to get the machine to work. Luckily, there was this nice gentleman who was leaving the Congress Conference held at Waterloo (hence the weird class schedule this week). He gave me his parking permit, which was good enough for me to park for the night (saved 5 bucks right there!). The permit only marked off yesterday as the last day, so I decided to park at the plaza just incase the the parking patrol takes a stroll around the parking lot.
The drive back to Toronto was pretty quick, though I was pretty tired. I got back to Toronto around 12:45pm. If I took the greyhound, I would still be in Kitchener, probably picking people up from Sportsworld. Once I got back to Toronto, I wanted to shower and take a quick nap because I had a list of things to do for today. My plan got foiled because the building was doing some sort of maintenance on the boiler, resulting no hot water until 4pm. I was pretty disappointed because I was looking forward for a nap, but since I wasn't able to shower, I decided to skip the nap too. I started doing my accounting assignment (finished it within an hour!) and eventually moved on to the flyer/ad that I was supposed to make for my mom weeks ago. I was pretty much on a role, but everything slowed down when I started doing my econ notes. Well, in the end, I got everything done, and that's all it matters, right?
On a side note, my brother kept asking for help in chemistry. Sadly, I only knew the basics and had to google just to "refresh" my mind. In the end, I was able to explain to him what's happening and how to work through the problems. He was probably too stressed to notice my failure anyways.
