Frozen In Lecture Halls.

University of Waterloo should turn down the air condition and save some money!  Some lecture halls are way too cold!  I had to sit through a 3-hour lecture in a room that felt like below 15 degrees.  After the first an hour and a half, I started to develop a slight migraine.  Not exactly the best 3 hours of the day.

Something funny (well, I thought it was funny) happened during the mythology lecture (yes, the 3-hour lecture).  My prof started explaining why he chose the word 'derivatives' just incase people didn't understand what he was trying to explain on his slides.  In the end, he said, "I guess no one uses derivative as part of their everyday language.  Anyone in here uses it in their regular speech?"  After he ask that question, I saw all these random people raising up their hands.  Those are probably the mathies, which, at that time, was pretty amusing to me.

Dinner was interesting today as Georgie tried her new recipe.  She kinda over cooked the broccoli and all the 'flower' part started to fall off.  In the end, the broccolis ended up looking like a miniature tree that's losing it's leaves in fall/winter.  It was pretty hilarious!  On the bright side, the broccoli tasted good.
