I finished my last accounting assignment, and boy it was a total piss off. The concept was not that difficult as I just input numbers into different equations. What pissed me off was that some of my answers got changed when I submitted it. I decided not to redo it since my top 10 marks are already pretty good.
I went to my aunt's place with my mom to giver her some ice wine to bring to San Francisco. She asked about school, and obviously my brother became the topic of the conversation. Everyone is really proud of his achievements and will forever be the topic when we're in San Francisco. After, my aunt asked about my education, which I wasn't exactly proud of it. I was so shocked with her inquiry, that all I said was, "still the same thing." I think my mom noticed the awkwardness and started telling her how I'm thinking of going into nursing and stuff. I guess she can tell that I was a bit uncomfortable talking about school and future. It was weird because I have never been the topic about school and stuff, especially not about my brother's success. No doubt, my future plan/path is definitely less appealing than my brother's, but hey, what can I do? Regardless, I'm still proud of him, though I'll basically have to work under his shadow now.
